The NFL Draft 2025 Was Full of Surprises and Drama

The NFL draft 2025 was an event full of surprises and drama. While the Tennessee Titans selected quarterback Cam Ward first overall as expected, a handful of other trades took place that drastically altered the draft order for the rest of Round 1.

Wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter was a top pick, landing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in a swap with the Cleveland Browns. The New York Giants traded back into the second round to land defensive tackle Mason Graham, and the Miami Dolphins nabbed Dillon Gabriel from the Cleveland Browns in a move that cost them their fourth-round pick.

Despite the chaos, many teams got what they were looking for in terms of talent. Cam Ward is viewed as the best player in the class, and he’ll fit nicely with the Titans’ quarterback needs. Defensive end Zach Carter also has a high ceiling, and his pass rush was strong at Penn State last season. Lastly, running back Ashton Jeanty is viewed as a generational talent who can do it all.

In addition to watching the action unfold in the NFL Draft Theater, fans can enjoy a variety of unique experiences and activities at the free NFL Draft Experience football festival adjacent to Lambeau Field and Titletown.
